Experimental Objectives and Methods
The objective of this experiment was to investigate the differences in emulsifying performance between cashew nutshell liquid surfactant and Agro-emulsifier 601. Several emulsifiers, including 507, 601, and MD-1610, were used to evaluate their potential application in emulsifiable concentrate formulations. In the experiment, 10g of the emulsified substance was weighed and placed in a 50ml beaker. The emulsifier was added and stirred evenly. The results after adding xylene and different solvent oils were then recorded.
Results Analysis
The experiment showed significant differences in the emulsifying performance of different emulsifiers in xylene and 150# solvent oil. Specifically, MD-6010 and MD-6012 showed better stability in the experiment and were able to form stable emulsions, demonstrating excellent performance in oil-based pesticide formulations. These results indicate that these emulsifiers can effectively replace traditional alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether type emulsifiers in practical applications, providing support for innovation in pesticide formulations.
